NYC Math Tutor · Elementary through High School
I'm an Investment Banking Associate who tutors math on the side — because I genuinely love teaching it. From basic arithmetic to AP Calculus, I break down problems clearly, find the approach that clicks for your student, and build real confidence along the way.

What Parents Say
"I honestly did not know what I was doing when I started looking for a tutor. As a first time parent navigating all of this, I just knew my child was struggling with trigonometry and I wanted to help. Jonathan made the whole experience so much easier than I expected. Watching my child go from frustrated to genuinely excited about math was something I will not forget. I did not realize how much the right tutor could change things. So glad we found Jonathan."
"Jonathan helped both my children very much in middle school math. Before, they always feel frustrated and not confident with math class. After tutoring with Jonathan, their grades become much better and they understand the homework more easily. He is very patient and explain things in simple way, so my kids not feel nervous to ask questions. We are very happy with the progress and very thankful for his help. I highly recommend Jonathan for any parent looking for good math tutor."

About Jonathan
I graduated from Binghamton University with a B.S. in Business Administration, concentrating in Finance and Management Information Systems. By day, I work as an Investment Banking Associate with over five years in the finance industry — experience that keeps my analytical and problem-solving skills sharp every single day.
I've been tutoring since high school and have helped students across all levels improve their grades and build real confidence in math. What I love most about the subject is that there's always a definitive answer — and usually more than one way to get there. I work with each student to find the approach that clicks for them, whether that's working step by step or seeing the big picture first.
Outside of work and tutoring, you'll find me lifting weights, playing pickleball, running, or planning my next solo trip. My goal with every student is simple: understand the material, not just memorize it. Watching someone go from frustrated to confident is exactly why I do this.
